DETAILED ITINERARY OF GALAPAGOS ISLANDS 🇪🇨 PHOTO TOUR 13 DAYS.

 "BEST SEASON TO VISIT  1ST MAY TO 30TH SEPTEMBER"

In the information below you will find all the details day by day about you visit to Ecuador for GALAPAGOS ISLANDS FOR WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR. 

DAY 1

• Arrival to Quito International Airport (MARISCAL SUCRE) 
• I will be waiting for you at the Quito Airport in the arrival gate. After that the driver will take us to the SAN JOSE DE PUEMBO HOTEL. (20 MIN. DRIVE) for resting and to be ready for the next day of the adventure. 

DAY 2

• This day we will start with our trip VISITING ONE OF THE MOST important attractions in Quito
• VISIT QUITO OLD TOWN AND THE EQUATOR LINE AREA. FULL DAY. 
• This day we will stay around the Quito city visiting the most beautiful old town in South America this part of Quito has some constructions trat were built during the colonial period of our country on the 16th century to the 19th century. After to spend the morning visiting this area, we will ahead the other highlight of the city.
• The famous EQUATOR LINE.  This is an obligatory stop to visit on your staying in Ecuador because this this the main reason why our country adopted the name on 1836. After to spend couple of hours in this area, we will drive back to our hotel to get all ready for our JOURNEY to the GALAPAGOS ISLANDS the next morning.

DAY 3

• This day will be half day for arrival to the GALAPAGOS ISLANDS and half day to enjoy the surrounding areas of SAN CRISTOBAL ISLAND. 
• Transfer out to Quito Airport for Galapagos flight (2h30 min flight). Arrival to San Cristobal Island to start our photography adventure in Galapagos. Arrival in the afternoon and we will do some photography around de town looking for some sea lions, herons and some earth iguanas.
• The same afternoon we will have the chance to visit a popular area named LA LOBERIA. In here we will be able to enjoy of a nice beach and we can wank to visit a cliff that is close by to have the chance to photograph some species of birds in fly.

DAY 4

• Visiting around San Cristobal Island and some interesting places to photograph the most enigmatic Giant tortoises and visit to volcan “EL JUNCO”, playa la loberia and PUERTO CHINO BEACH which is one of the most beautiful areas in SAN CRISTOBAL. We will visit this area in the morning and after the activities we will come back to town to for lunch and for midday break to continue in the afternoon with our journey to visit a different area of SAN CRISTOBAL.

DAY 5

• Full day to visit the Española Island, this is the best place to photograph the endemic species of penguins in Galapagos
• This day we will start early in the morning (6 am). To catch the boat to ESPANOLA ISLAND. We will have a 2 hours trip to the island that is considered as one of the best spots to see and photograph the wildlife in the Galapagos. We can be able to see all king of animals like: Galapagos hawk, Galapagos dove, waved albatross, Nazca booby, red billed tropicbird, marine iguanas with a pink color skin that is able to see just in this Island, and a lot of more. Also, we will have the chance to practice some snorkeling is you want. This is part of the full day trip in this area. 
• We will stay all day long navigating and late afternoon we will come back to our hotel in SAN CRISTOBAL.

DAY 6

• Ferry to Santa Cruz Island and in the afternoon, we will visit the Charles Darwin Station and we will do some photography in the surrounding areas of the Island
• On this day we will star our journey early in the morning to take the ferry to SANTA CRUZ ISLAND where we will stay for the nest 3 days to visit some important areas around this spot. 
• After to arrive to the hotel we will ahead to CHARLES DARWIN STATION. This place is located in town and is and is a very popular spot in here due to it has a lot of information about the history of the islands and the main attraction is that there is a room dedicated to the “LONESOME GEORGE” this is the oldest giant tortoise that have lived on the islands (102 years). And we will spend some time visiting a nice beach that is next to the Station. 

DAY 7

• Full day to visit the SEYMOUR NORTE Island, BEST PLACE TO PHOTOGRAPH THE BLUE -FOOTED BOODY, RED-FOOTED BOOBY AND IS WE ARE LUCKY SOME NAZCA BOOBY
• This day we will have a full day excursion to SEYMOUR ISLAND. This area has the biggest concentration of BLUE FOOTED BOOBYS in the Galapagos islands. Will be a day to enjoy of a lot of wildlife loke, the endemics land iguanas, marine iguanas, frigatebirds, see lions and some more. we will spend all day long visiting different areas around the island and practicing other activities as well.  In the afternoon we will come back to the hotel in SANTA CRUZ.

DAY 8

• Full day of photography around the SANTA CRUZ ISLANDS.
• Full day to visit the EL CHATO RANCH for giant tortoises. This day we will mix the activities with landscape photography and wild life photography
• We will visit a private property in the island that is named “RANCHO EL CHATO” this place has a big concentration two species of the endemic GIANT TORTOISES that are possible to find in the island. We will spend the morning visiting this location and, in the afternoon, we will move to a different beach “TORTUGA BAY” to relax and enjoy of this beautiful place and for sure to have the chances to photograph the sunset in the island.  

DAY 9

• ACTIVITIES IN THE BIGGEST ISLAND IN THE GALAPAGOS. “ISABELA ISLAND”
• In the morning we will take a ferry to Isabela Island and, we will visit some good places in the Island to photograph some Galapagos tortoises and the American Flamingos and for sure some endemic finches of Isabela Island.
• This day we will have a nice excursion to “LOS TUNELES”. This is a beautiful place near by the Isabela Island that has an amazing landscape and for sure this will be a good place to see and photograph the ENDEMIC PENGUINS OF GALAPAGOS, that are the only tropical penguins in the world. We will have chances to see other kind of wildlife like, sharks, angel fish, sea tortoises, Mata rays, and if we are lucky, we can see gray dolphins crossing the ocean. 

DAY 10

• FULL DAY VISITING THE MOST IMPORTANT PLACES IN ISABELA ISLAND. 
• We will have good chance to photograph the beautiful AMERICAN FLAMINGOS we will visit two good locations near by the town. There are small lagoons where we will have good chances to photograph those beautiful birds and other species like: white cheeked pintail, lava gull (endemic of Galapagos), brown pelicans, swallow tailed gull, black necked stilt, and some more. 
• Depending the weather conditions, we will visit a place in the highest spot of the island to have chances to photograph one of the most popular flycatchers in the island. “BRUJO FLYCATCHER” this is also endemic of the Galapagos islands and we have the chance to do hike to the Sierra Negra volcano 
• We will come back to town for lunch and in the afternoon, we will have a fee time to enjoy of the hotel and of course of the beach that is in front of our hotel. 

DAY 11

• Half day visiting the ISLOTE LA TINTORERAS AND IN THE AFTERNOON, WE WILL TAKE THE FERRY TO COME BACK TO SANTA CRUZ FOR OUR EARLY DEPARTURE THE NEST DAY
• This day we will have a half day to visit ISLOTE LAS TINTORERAS. This a location near the main port. This place has a lot to offer as well as the other places that we have been visiting during our tour. We will have chances to photograph the GALAPAGOS PENGUINS in case we missed the las time. And some other wildlife like blue footed booby, FRAGATEBIRDS, PELICANS AND SOME MORE. 
• We will come back to town for lunch and to get all our staff ready of our journey back to SANTA CRUZ ISLAND. 
• We will catch the ferry to Santa Cruz in the afternoon (2 hours). 
• Last night in the island we will have a special dinner in town. Visiting the most popular streets   in SANTA CRUZ.

DAY 12

• FLIGHT BACK TO QUITO IN THE MORNING and arrival to Quito in the afternoon. Afternoon off
• This day depending the flight schedule we will have the morning off and we will transfer to the BALTRA AIRPORT for our flight back to Quito. 

DAY 13

• Considering that this is our last day of this AMAZING TRIP. We have to start with an early breakfast at the Lodge.
• In this day we have the end of our trip and we will take the flight to come back home.
